Where and when is the ride?
The ride will take place Saturday 5th June 2010, Boolarra, Victoria. Approximatley 170kms from Melbourne.

Who can ride?
Anyone who enjoys a day in the bush with a large group of like minded people. Anyone who likes to back a great cause. Also, anyone who has a full motorcycle licence, P or L plate motorcycle licence and rides a bike that has either Recreational Registration or Full Registration and is riding that bike on the day.

What is included in the entry fee?
Appart from a great days riding, there is camping available Friday & Saturday nights at the Boolarra HoteL, your Motorcycling Victoria Day Riding Policy & the Fantasitc giveaways during the day. GST is also included in the pricing

Will my bike be scrutineered?
Yes your bike will be scrutineered, this will need to be done before anyone can leave for the ride, so the earlier you get there - the earlier we can all leave.
We will be checking for
*Tail light
*Head light
*Number plate (no stickers)
*Adequate Silencing
As long as these minimum standards are met, you should be fine to ride.

Parking.
We will have marshalls in our parking area. Just so we are all clear - we will check eskis and bags on entry as Alcohol is NOT PERMITTED. The local police will be in attendance, random breath tests may be conducted.

What happens at sign in?
You will be asked to filter through in alphabetical (a-k, l-n, o-t, u-z) order, please have your motorcycle licence & MV licence (if you hold one) with you. We will hold these licences for the day. You will also sign an MV document whilst your bike is scrutineered. This should get everyone through quickly and with the least amount of hassel.

Will there be food available?
Yes, food will be prepared & ready forBreakfast & Lunch for you to purchase. Food and drink will be ready for you to eat all day. We will have coffee & tea available too!

Where are the local shops, cash machines & petrol?
There is a small general store in Boolarra township, it has a cash machine and takes Eftpos. Petrol however is not available in town - you should make sure the jerry cans are filled when coming through Churchill or Leongatha, petrol is also available at Shell Yinnar.

Where is the camping & how do I book it & how much does it cost?
The camping is available at the Boolarra Hotel, the local hotelier has opened up the land surrounding his establishment. There is no cost to you at all. We just ask that you keep the area tidy as it is a place of business. He has meals at pub prices and it is a great place to have a quiet drink after the ride. So consider staying - a chance to catch up with fellow riders and have a drink and a laugh about the day.
